The supporters of Döhlen booed when Hoyersburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Singler didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Bonito Kösters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bonito Kösters scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Ratzel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Hoyersburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Döhlen were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torsten Goiny to strike the kick off in the second half. Hoyersburg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Achmed Willer scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Ratzel, making the score, 0-5. Thanks to some nice moves Hans Sacher could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Manuel Ratzel however easily saved by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Hoyersburg's goalkeeper Manuel Ratzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Sacher. Hoyersburg's Manuel Ratzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achmed Willer in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Hoyersburg getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ignaz Dazer hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Döhlen's Bonito Kösters ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Ratzel. Manuel Ratzel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Manuel Ratzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Scheringer in the 76th minute of the match. Manuel Ratzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achmed Willer, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Manuel Ratzel made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Achmed Willer sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Nils Scheringer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Ratzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonito Kösters charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonito Kösters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Hoyersburg got a freekick which was hit by Helgi Thierle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Sacher got free with Manuel Ratzel in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Döhlen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hoyersburg.
