After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jürgen Kuster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinteröd's supporters rose to their feet, but Jürgen Kuster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolaus Latocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurt-Jürgen Thom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Rektor having to interfere. Nikolaus Latocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Kuster in the 22nd minute of play. Gerrit List sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hartmut Heuschkel during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 minutes of play, Hinteröd's Gerrit List made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolaus Latocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th match minute, Hinteröd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Gross to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, FC Großmacht Ried e.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt-Jürgen Thom to maneuver through the defense. Jürgen Kuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolaus Latocha having to interfere. In the 81st minute Jürgen Kuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolaus Latocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hinteröd's Billy Rektor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt-Jürgen Thom in the 87th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Großmacht Ried e.V.! A collision led to Hinteröd getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
