After 2 played minutes Pieschen FC got a freekick which was hit by Ole Boskamp. Hahnenberg's Hansjörg Wenschlag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Hahnenberg from getting a goal against them. Jindrich Junker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Bonew having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Pieschen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrich Bredel came free, but Piotr Bonew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Bonew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Bredel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Piotr Bonew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jindrich Junker in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Hermann Mumm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pieschen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermann Mumm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Hermann Mumm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wenschlag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Pieschen FC got a freekick which was hit by Kai Paun. Franz Kaas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Piotr Bonew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jindrich Junker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pieschen FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Franz Kaas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jindrich Junker in the 41st minute of play forced Pieschen FC's goalkeeper Piotr Bonew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Jindrich Junker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ulrich Bredel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ulrich Bredel made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Pieschen FC's Hermann Mumm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansjörg Wenschlag narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jindrich Junker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Bonew having to interfere. Piotr Bonew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Bredel in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermann Mumm in the 67th minute of play forced Hahnenberg's goalkeeper Hansjörg Wenschlag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hahnenberg's Hansjörg Wenschlag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Mumm in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Ulrich Bredel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hahnenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrich Bredel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Franz Kaas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. A hard shot 75 in the game by Jindrich Junker from a close distance when the talented Piotr Bonew managed to make a qualified save. Pieschen FC's players were relieved. When Hahnenberg's Ulrich Bredel in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pieschen FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute, Hermann Mumm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hahnenberg's Kostas Hummel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pieschen FC. If Umberto Kirchhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrich Bredel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Piotr Bonew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
