Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wayne Bernwurz started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Günther Feierabend left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in icrimax fc's zone, Adam Kirchner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Lojewski came out of the goal and Adam Kirchner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wayne Bernwurz scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Lojewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giovanni Plank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maiko Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Wayne Bernwurz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dariusz Lojewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Giovanni Plank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maiko Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, icrimax fc's Maiko Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Plank narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Wayne Bernwurz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Wayne Bernwurz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Lojewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maiko Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Giovanni Plank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for icrimax fc. In the 34th minute of the match Lothar Cyzewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovanni Plank skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Adam Kirchner got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Kaumanns. After recieving a nice pass, icrimax fc's Frank Petzolt tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maiko Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilhelm Bonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Plank having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Wayne Bernwurz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dariusz Lojewski. Wayne Bernwurz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Günther Feierabend got a free kick in the 54th minute. Giovanni Plank made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Wayne Bernwurz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Maiko Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borussia Dortmund were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of icrimax fc for a fine match.
