The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Steve Deistler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Krögner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Deistler in the 12th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Helmke Haunstein got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Michael Popoola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balko Oberländer having to interfere. Llapi C.F's Helmke Haunstein was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Holzmanns's zone, Michael Popoola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balko Oberländer came out of the goal and Michael Popoola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helmke Haunstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Balko Oberländer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Llapi C.F got a freekick which was hit by Christian Suhrke. 31 minutes into the match, Holzmanns's Steve Deistler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Krögner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Llapi C.F's zone, Emanuel Pfitzner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Krögner came out of the goal and Emanuel Pfitzner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Krögner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Deistler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Llapi C.F's Marcus Krögner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Pfitzner in the 36th minute of play. Marcus Krögner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Deistler in the 37th minute of play. Holzmanns's Balko Oberländer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmke Haunstein in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Llapi C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Ostendorff to maneuver through the defense. Michael Popoola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Helmke Haunstein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balko Oberländer was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enak Wachsmann during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Llapi C.F's Helmke Haunstein got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Pfitzner got free with Marcus Krögner in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enak Wachsmann was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aziz Rahnefeld shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 74 minutes into the game, Jürn Ohme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holzmanns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llapi C.F the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Holzmanns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jürn Ohme to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Llapi C.F's Michael Popoola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balko Oberländer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Michael Popoola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Llapi C.F booed when Holzmanns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jürn Ohme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Krögner made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Emanuel Pfitzner sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Pfitzner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Marcus Krögner made a huge save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Llapi C.F fully deserved thier win.
