Spectators: 5855 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 100) Blau-Weiss's Reinhard Pollan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Bärenhart in the 5th minute of play forced Blau-Weiss's goalkeeper Jonny Flecken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FSV Sachsenkicker's Fritz Bärenhart got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonny Flecken made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Fritz Bärenhart sent off a good shot on target. Richard Buckmüller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jonny Flecken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Axel Schlierer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSV Sachsenkicker and the Blau-Weiss players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axel Schlierer hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Schira in the 15th minute of play forced FSV Sachsenkicker's goalkeeper Marco Block to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Block came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Blau-Weiss's Reinhard Pollan. But to his dismay, Reinhard Pollan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marco Block made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Pollan in the 22nd minute of play. Leif-Eric Hübner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonny Flecken having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, Blau-Weiss's goal looked a bit too open when Leif-Eric Hübner came free, but Jonny Flecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Block showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Hofmeister in the 32nd minute of the match. Fritz Bärenhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Buckmüller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Jonny Flecken when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Blau-Weiss's Jonny Flecken got control of the ball when Richard Buckmüller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fritz Bärenhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Flecken having to interfere. If Hakan Schwarzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FSV Sachsenkicker players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Blau-Weiss were winning 0-1.

The corner ended in Leif-Eric Hübner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blau-Weiss's Jonny Flecken did a great save. When Bartolo Hofmeister fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blau-Weiss's protests and gave Bartolo Hofmeister a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Blau-Weiss got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Hofmeister. Jonny Flecken came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FSV Sachsenkicker's Richard Buckmüller. But to his dismay, Richard Buckmüller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 57th minute, Hakan Schwarzer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FSV Sachsenkicker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinhard Pollan in the 61st minute of play forced FSV Sachsenkicker's goalkeeper Marco Block to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fritz Bärenhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Flecken having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Bärenhart in the 65th minute of play forced Blau-Weiss's goalkeeper Jonny Flecken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Richard Buckmüller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif-Eric Hübner charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leif-Eric Hübner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes FSV Sachsenkicker got a freekick which was hit by Leif-Eric Hübner. Fritz Bärenhart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jonny Flecken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Fritz Bärenhart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Sachsenkicker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Bärenhart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, one of FSV Sachsenkicker:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FSV Sachsenkicker. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Blau-Weiss. Bruce Schira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Block. 2-2. Toni Schachow kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes Blau-Weiss's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leif-Eric Hübner who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FSV Sachsenkicker's Leif-Eric Hübner to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonny Flecken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonny Flecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Bärenhart, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jonny Flecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Buckmüller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute, Hakan Schwarzer made a precise shot to the right of Jonny Flecken. Blau-Weiss's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. FSV Sachsenkicker walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
