Ulrich Bredel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jindrich Junker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Weth charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Hahnenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hansjörg Wenschlag should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute Wayne Bernwurz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wenschlag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrich Bredel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Giovanni Plank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Hahnenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Feierabend came free, but Hansjörg Wenschlag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hansjörg Wenschlag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Bernwurz in the 90th minute of play. Hansjörg Wenschlag stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wayne Bernwurz's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
