Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulrich Bredel in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billy Rektor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauritz Jan Labudda hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Kostas Hummel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Billy Rektor. Hinteröd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rando Tanne's late challenge caught a Hahnenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rando Tanne helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hinteröd getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rando Tanne hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Hinteröd's Jürgen Kuster nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hansjörg Wenschlag made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hahnenberg were furious when Thilo Poll was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hahnenberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Hinteröd. Rando Tanne stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hansjörg Wenschlag. 0-2. When Hinteröd's Jürgen Kuster in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hahnenberg's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes Hinteröd got a freekick which was hit by Mauritz Jan Labudda. 37 minutes into the game, Lukas Karrer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hahnenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hinteröd the free kick. A collision led to Hahnenberg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lukas Karrer hit a great ball. Hansjörg Wenschlag came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Hinteröd's Jürgen Kuster. But to his dismay, Jürgen Kuster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Hinteröd's Hubert Gross in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hahnenberg's goalie prevented a goal. Jindrich Junker struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Billy Rektor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hahnenberg. Lukas Karrer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Jürgen Kuster might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hansjörg Wenschlag. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jürgen Kuster ran back to his position shaking his head. Hansjörg Wenschlag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Kuster in the 61st minute of the match. Hahnenberg's Hansjörg Wenschlag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Hahnenberg from getting a goal against them. When Gerrit List came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Hinteröd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerrit List couldn't finish the play. Hansjörg Wenschlag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Kuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Jürgen Kuster got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 83 minutes, Jindrich Junker made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Hinteröd's Billy Rektor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jürgen Kuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Rektor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jindrich Junker, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hinteröd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
