The barsa01 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johann Liebich should have stopped the shot. Johann Liebich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kees Seyller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ikendorf's Ivica Manes got control of the ball when Eitel von Fallersleben tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, barsa01's goal looked a bit too open when Dagobert Remmers came free, but Johann Liebich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eitel von Fallersleben who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Ivica Manes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. barsa01's Johann Liebich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagobert Remmers in the 23rd minute of play. When Eitel von Fallersleben came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the barsa01 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eitel von Fallersleben couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Dagobert Remmers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johann Liebich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Leik Banty notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of barsa01's Johann Liebich. Johann Liebich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johann Liebich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagobert Remmers in the 40th minute of play. Kees Seyller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johann Liebich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagobert Remmers, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Johann Liebich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leik Banty in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute Dagobert Remmers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johann Liebich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kees Seyller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Dagobert Remmers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johann Liebich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ikendorf's Dagobert Remmers in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye barsa01's goalie prevented a goal. Ludwig Peters was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. If Kees Seyller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagobert Remmers in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johann Liebich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of barsa01:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ikendorf:s goal. If Dagobert Remmers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kees Seyller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Johann Liebich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Gerd Eduard Tennenbaum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute Dagobert Remmers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johann Liebich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hendrik Klingler charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrik Klingler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 99th match minute, barsa01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik Klingler to maneuver through the defense. Ikendorf's Dagobert Remmers got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
