After having played for 11 minutes, Karlo Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polska Poland Polen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karlo Michael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dagobert Remmers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polska Poland Polen! Bastian Weinfort went to the wrong direction when Didier Klingberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Dagobert Remmers struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Bastian Weinfort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ikendorf. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egon Machold during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ikendorf's Egon Machold got a free kick in the 24th minute. Dagobert Remmers got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bastian Weinfort handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Bastian Weinfort didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kees Seyller went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Karlo Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karlo Michael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ikendorf booed when Polska Poland Polen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlo Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kees Seyller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Polska Poland Polen's goalkeeper Bastian Weinfort, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ikendorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Didier Klingberg in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Didier Klingberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bastian Weinfort quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dagobert Remmers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Dagobert Remmers came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ikendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagobert Remmers couldn't finish the play. After 53 minutes of play Polska Poland Polen's Heinrich Höfken was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Polska Poland Polen's Heinrich Höfken got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bastian Weinfort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagobert Remmers, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Kees Seyller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Seyller in the 63rd minute of play forced Polska Poland Polen's goalkeeper Bastian Weinfort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kees Seyller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Weinfort having to interfere. In the 78th minute Kees Seyller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Weinfort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kees Seyller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagobert Remmers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bastian Weinfort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kees Seyller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Weinfort having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leik Banty in the 96th minute of play forced Polska Poland Polen's goalkeeper Bastian Weinfort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ikendorf had played much better football throughout.
