He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 67 minutes into the game, Oskar Behning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky Dörnbrack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Neubert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Wenauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Minkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Watzensteini-Bornberg reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Watzensteini-Bornberg had won after a very even match.
