Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvio Krumbein took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wigalf Jüdt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemens Insel in the 5th minute of play. Wigalf Jüdt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Korsikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Silvio Krumbein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wigalf Jüdt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Krumbein went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, Opperz's Silvio Krumbein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wigalf Jüdt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Clemens Insel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Matheis in the 34th minute of play forced Opperz's goalkeeper Gregor Thorbrügge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Silvio Krumbein made a precise shot to the right of Wigalf Jüdt. Angelsbruck's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After the first half Opperz were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Rodolfo Bendl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Jochen Matheis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Angelsbruck booed when Opperz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Bader didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Matheis in the 60th minute of play forced Opperz's goalkeeper Gregor Thorbrügge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Rolf Korsikowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Opperz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angelsbruck the free kick. Rolf Korsikowski kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Silvio Krumbein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wigalf Jüdt. The goal made the score 0-6. Wigalf Jüdt had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Conni Kluck's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Conni Kluck scored 0-7 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wigalf Jüdt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gunter Flaht kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Clemens Insel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Opperz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemens Insel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Angelsbruck getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gunter Flaht hit a great ball. Angelsbruck's Wigalf Jüdt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Angelsbruck from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Bader got free with Wigalf Jüdt in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gunter Flaht fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angelsbruck's protests and gave Gunter Flaht a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Angelsbruck's Gunter Flaht got a free kick in the 76th minute. With splendid footwork Silvio Krumbein arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-8 by the left pole in the game's 79th minute. When Opperz's Otto Bader in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angelsbruck's goalie prevented a goal. Elmer Zepek charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elmer Zepek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Opperz getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Elmer Zepek hit a great ball. Wigalf Jüdt was a little too slow when Otto Bader got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-9. Angelsbruck's Wigalf Jüdt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Krumbein in the 96th minute of play. Angelsbruck's Gunter Flaht got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Angelsbruck supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Opperz's performance. The match ended with a win for Opperz.
