When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lutz Kreber made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Junkersholz FC's Dominik Selinger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stephan Dusend. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. In the 55th minute Emanuel Klotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Brackheimer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Junkersholz FC defense, Gernot Tünnissen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Werner Brackheimer. The Junkersholz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Werner Brackheimer should have stopped the shot. Stephan Dusend was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lutz Kreber. In the 85th minute, Willi Kloos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Junkersholz FC's Werner Brackheimer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernot Tünnissen in the 89th minute of play.
