Spectators: 7296 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jochen Matheis made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Angelsbruck's goalkeeper Wigalf Jüdt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julius Treiber. Lars Neubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunter Flaht in the 5th minute of play. Lars Neubert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochen Matheis in the 6th minute of the match. Gunter Flaht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Neubert having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Watzensteini-Bornberg got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Zwerger. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jochen Matheis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angelsbruck's supporters rose to their feet, but Jochen Matheis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Neubert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Watzensteini-Bornberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Zwerger to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Angelsbruck getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Oliver Josef Andrejewski hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Daniel Vittinghoff put in a rough tackle. Amerigo Gölz made no mistake but made a sure 1-0 on a nice kicked penalty. Richard Minkel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Watzensteini-Bornberg's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 32nd minute Richard Minkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wigalf Jüdt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Butterweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gunter Flaht came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Angelsbruck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunter Flaht couldn't finish the play. Konstantin Zwerger was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Watzensteini-Bornberg getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Konstantin Zwerger hit a great ball. Mark Butterweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lars Neubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gunter Flaht came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Angelsbruck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunter Flaht couldn't finish the play. Mark Butterweck took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Neubert. Lars Neubert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julius Treiber was the one to do the kick off. Lars Neubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Butterweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gunter Flaht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Neubert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunter Flaht in the 64th minute. Gunter Flaht received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lars Neubert came out and tried to block the shot, but Gunter Flaht slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Gregor Wefing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Neubert having to interfere. Angelsbruck's Gunter Flaht got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Julius Treiber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunter Flaht had several of the Watzensteini-Bornberg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Lars Neubert as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 80 minutes, Gunter Flaht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angelsbruck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunter Flaht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelsbruck's Mark Butterweck got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute Gunter Flaht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Neubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Watzensteini-Bornberg's Lars Neubert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Watzensteini-Bornberg from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Watzensteini-Bornberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mark Butterweck was slow to take the kick. During this time Angelsbruck's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Angelsbruck's Gunter Flaht got a free kick in the 90th minute. Angelsbruck's Gunter Flaht got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelsbruck played a much better game than Watzensteini-Bornberg and deserved their victory. The Watzensteini-Bornberg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
