The supporters of Tiergartenbreite FC booed when Groß Dahlhaus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Brömer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Elmar Kavel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Dusend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons Wetter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Klotz in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Tiergartenbreite FC were awarded a corner. Gary Michalak went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Groß Dahlhaus's goalie and right to Lutger Kraft. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Groß Dahlhaus's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alfons Wetter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Klotz in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Gernot Tünnissen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiergartenbreite FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Groß Dahlhaus the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gernot Tünnissen made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Groß Dahlhaus's zone, Emanuel Klotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Wetter came out of the goal and Emanuel Klotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfons Wetter came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiergartenbreite FC's Emanuel Klotz. But to his dismay, Emanuel Klotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gernot Tünnissen might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfons Wetter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernot Tünnissen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59 played minutes Groß Dahlhaus got a freekick which was hit by Ottmar Gröber. Emanuel Klotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Wetter having to interfere. Gernot Tünnissen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Emanuel Klotz sped through Groß Dahlhaus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfons Wetter. 73 minutes into the match, Tiergartenbreite FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Kavel came free, but Stephan Dusend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Groß Dahlhaus's goal looked a bit too open when Gernot Tünnissen came free, but Alfons Wetter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gary Michalak fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiergartenbreite FC's protests and gave Gary Michalak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Gary Michalak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Tiergartenbreite FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
