Welf Weller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karel Rawert in the 28th minute. Antfeld FSV's Helmut Krohm got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Helmut Krohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helmut Krohm to make the kick off. A collision led to RFC Biberbach getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Olav Reinke hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Helmut Krohm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Onno Plesetz. That made the score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. When Bruno Kanoneks came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Antfeld FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Kanoneks couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, RFC Biberbach's goal looked a bit too open when Helmut Krohm came free, but Onno Plesetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Helmut Krohm rounded RFC Biberbach's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Welf Weller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Rawert in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes RFC Biberbach got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Blecke. In the 80th minute, Helmut Krohm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes RFC Biberbach got a freekick which was hit by Femke Kallweit. After a defensive mix-up in RFC Biberbach's zone, Bruno Kanoneks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onno Plesetz came out of the goal and Bruno Kanoneks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Antfeld FSV's Helmut Krohm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Onno Plesetz. Onno Plesetz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Bruno Kanoneks received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Onno Plesetz came out and tried to block the shot, but Bruno Kanoneks slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Antfeld FSV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RFC Biberbach.
