Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Uwe Orlowski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mike Petersik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Kanoneks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Bruno Kanoneks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Petersik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Drei Linden defense, Ali Ertan Götz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Petersik. The Drei Linden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Petersik should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Kramer during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roland Kramer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Welf Weller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Orlowski in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Antfeld FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gereon Rotheuler to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Drei Linden's goal looked a bit too open when Helmut Krohm came free, but Mike Petersik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Drei Linden got a freekick which was hit by Theodor von Scheliha. Ali Ertan Götz's late challenge caught a Drei Linden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helmut Krohm to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Helmut Krohm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antfeld FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helmut Krohm in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Petersik saved Drei Linden from getting behind. Drei Linden's Mike Petersik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Ertan Götz in the 64th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Drei Linden got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Röber. Bruno Kanoneks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Antfeld FSV booed when Drei Linden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Röber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Udo Oberleitner kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Frido Jäger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drei Linden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antfeld FSV the free kick. After 72 played minutes Drei Linden got a freekick which was hit by Frido Jäger. Helmut Krohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drei Linden's Mike Petersik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Drei Linden from getting a goal against them. Mike Petersik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmut Krohm in the 87th minute of play. Bruno Kanoneks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Mike Petersik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Drei Linden supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Antfeld FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Antfeld FSV.
