Amed Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Vosswinkel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hansjürgen Nikoleit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alois Kahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Zeitzmann having to interfere. Lars Zeitzmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alois Kahl in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Alois Kahl fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Simon Achterbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Lars Zeitzmann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A hard shot 22 in the game by Alois Kahl from a close distance when the talented Lars Zeitzmann managed to make a qualified save. Amed Spor's players were relieved. Hansjürgen Nikoleit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Vosswinkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Süderhof's Hansjürgen Nikoleit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Vosswinkel in the 34th minute of play. Shingo Grein's late challenge caught a Süderhof's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shingo Grein helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Amed Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shingo Grein to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Simon Achterbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Amed Spor's Udo Benda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansjürgen Nikoleit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Amed Spor getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Hansjürgen Brandl hit a great ball. If Alois Kahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Shingo Grein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amed Spor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kaspar Buhrmann was slow to take the kick. During this time Süderhof's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kaspar Buhrmann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lars Zeitzmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Vosswinkel was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Süderhof got a freekick which was hit by Levent Krögner. Amed Spor's Alexander Erhart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hansjürgen Nikoleit in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59th minute, Simon Achterbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lars Zeitzmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Amed Spor's zone, Simon Achterbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Zeitzmann came out of the goal and Simon Achterbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Max Vosswinkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjürgen Nikoleit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
