The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sepp Klobke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Opops Team's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Theiss came free, but Ronald Diel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronald Diel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Theiss's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Boris Theiss sped through Opops Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronald Diel. Dierk Klemt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Bohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batho Dramsch in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Sepp Klobke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 22 in the game by Clemens Ziegler from a close distance when the talented Simon Bohn managed to make a qualified save. Seghorn FSV's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Theiss in the 26th minute of play forced Opops Team's goalkeeper Ronald Diel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boris Theiss in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronald Diel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rdth minute of the game Boris Theiss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Opops Team's Ronald Diel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Kaspar Borgwardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes, Clemens Ziegler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Opops Team and the Seghorn FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Opops Team got a freekick which was hit by Clemens Ziegler. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Eicker got free with Simon Bohn in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Joseph Küster kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Opops Team's Ronald Diel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walther Schönberg in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Seghorn FSV defense, Heribert Friedhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Bohn. The Seghorn FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Bohn should have stopped the shot. Ronald Diel made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Boris Theiss sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Seghorn FSV's Oliver Demelbauer got a free kick in the 67th minute. Simon Bohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Priewe in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Walther Schönberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Diel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walther Schönberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Theiss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ronald Diel made a huge save.
