An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemens Ziegler in the 26th minute of play forced Fortuna's goalkeeper Frans Pethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batho Dramsch to make the kick off. The supporters of Fortuna booed when Opops Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Eicker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Diel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Liebing in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batho Dramsch in the 57th minute of play forced Fortuna's goalkeeper Frans Pethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Lukas Lorent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronald Diel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Liebing in the 73rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Gerard Hallerbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Opops Team getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dominik Eicker hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukas Lorent during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Fortuna got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Lorent. Clemens Ziegler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Pethe having to interfere. Fortuna's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
