After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Lichtenberg's zone, Niko Schieber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, SC Einheit Burg's Ubbo Herbers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 21 played minutes SC Einheit Burg got a freekick which was hit by Emil Gerhardt. Philipp Landgraf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gero Olowka went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 26thth minute of the game Ubbo Herbers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dynamo Lichtenberg's Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When SC Einheit Burg's Niko Schieber in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SC Einheit Burg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubbo Herbers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Ubbo Herbers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gero Olowka made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SC Einheit Burg getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Silvain Zimmermann hit a great ball. Kaspar Kurbjuweit hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Niko Schieber managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Einheit Burg's supporters rose to their feet, but Niko Schieber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After taking down the ball on SC Einheit Burg's corner Leopold Karl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walther Wiedenroth-Coulibaly quite easily take care of the ball. SC Einheit Burg's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
