Henriko Tebbe came out of the goal and Gerrit Cürten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horst Dickhut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus-Dieter Derm in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Keskin in the 8th minute of play forced FC Bayern's goalkeeper Horst Dickhut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes FC Bayern got a freekick which was hit by Saul Krumpen. After 13 played minutes FC Bayern got a freekick which was hit by Reineke Petig. TSV Dewangen's Adam Rückert was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horst Dickhut in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Klaus-Dieter Derm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horst Dickhut having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Klaus-Dieter Derm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horst Dickhut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Gerrit Cürten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 30 played minutes FC Bayern got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Cürten. Henriko Tebbe made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gerrit Cürten sent off a good shot on target. Ottmar Scharfscheer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 played minutes TSV Dewangen got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Kaul. Henriko Tebbe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit Cürten in the 40th minute. Henriko Tebbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ottmar Scharfscheer, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Ottmar Scharfscheer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

TSV Dewangen's Henriko Tebbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ottmar Scharfscheer in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Enrique Kaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Gerrit Cürten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes FC Bayern got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Cürten. Horst Dickhut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Keskin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 90 minutes of play FC Bayern's Reineke Petig was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Although FC Bayern had been in control for most of the match, TSV Dewangen still came away with the win.
