Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sascha Berz kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sascha Berz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stephan Kienzle saved SC Lippe-Hamm from getting behind. Nico Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Sascha Berz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lippe-Hamm's Stephan Kienzle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilja Kalitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Michael in the 14th minute of play. Ilja Kalitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Sascha Berz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Midori's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sascha Berz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Sascha Berz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Lippe-Hamm's Stephan Kienzle. Stephan Kienzle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Rex Anolphi in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Midori's Helmut Döring. In the 24th minute, Sascha Berz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nico Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nico Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Midori's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Abel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Kienzle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sascha Berz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilja Kalitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Helmut Döring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Midori's Ludger Gillardon got a free kick in the 37th minute. Sascha Berz scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stephan Kienzle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sascha Berz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Lippe-Hamm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Midori were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertram Michael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes FC Midori got a freekick which was hit by Helmut Döring. Ilja Kalitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Michael in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Lippe-Hamm booed when FC Midori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Döring didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, SC Lippe-Hamm's Ali Hecke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilja Kalitta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Helmut Döring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sascha Berz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Stephan Kienzle made a huge save. Stephan Kienzle had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Sascha Berz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Nico Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Kienzle having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sascha Berz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stephan Kienzle was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When FC Midori's Sascha Berz in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lippe-Hamm's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Sascha Berz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Stange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilja Kalitta having to interfere. Fritz Faber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilja Kalitta. FC Midori's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frank Stange kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Stephan Kienzle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sascha Berz in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over FC Midori could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Lippe-Hamm throughout the match.
