Ubbo Herbers succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Ubbo Herbers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Scherer came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Einheit Burg's Emil Gerhardt. But to his dismay, Emil Gerhardt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Michael Abts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Einheit Burg's Philipp Landgraf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Hahn in the 19th minute of play. Ubbo Herbers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Oliver Scherer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubbo Herbers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Michael Abts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unterulpoint's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Abts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philipp Landgraf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philipp Landgraf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Burke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Scherer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niko Schieber's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The supporters of SC Einheit Burg booed when Unterulpoint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Bähr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niko Schieber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Rüdiger Waibel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niko Schieber was the one to do the kick off. Philipp Landgraf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Abts in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Bähr in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philipp Landgraf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 56 minutes, Ubbo Herbers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Einheit Burg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubbo Herbers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Niko Schieber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Scherer was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Thaddäus Buchmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Hahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Philipp Landgraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Michael Abts came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Unterulpoint fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Abts couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, SC Einheit Burg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvain Zimmermann to maneuver through the defense. Philipp Landgraf had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Michael Abts from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Michael Abts might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philipp Landgraf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Abts ran back to his position shaking his head. Philipp Landgraf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Abts in the 76th minute of play. Conny Hahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Philipp Landgraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Emil Gerhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unterulpoint's Michael Abts got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Bähr charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Bähr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliver Scherer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Schieber in the 92nd minute of play. Conny Hahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Philipp Landgraf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Einheit Burg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Unterulpoint had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
