FC Lahnstein's Mehmet Becker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lahnstein from getting a goal against them. Klaus-Dieter Derm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Herwig Ehrreich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henriko Tebbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Hering charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Hering the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Hering kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind TSV Dewangen's goalkeeper Henriko Tebbe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. TSV Dewangen's Henriko Tebbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herwig Ehrreich in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes TSV Dewangen got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Kaul. Herwig Ehrreich struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Henriko Tebbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lahnstein. If Wilfried Steininger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Herwig Ehrreich put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Henriko Tebbe. After a defensive mix-up in TSV Dewangen's zone, Wilfried Steininger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henriko Tebbe came out of the goal and Wilfried Steininger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The TSV Dewangen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Lahnstein were winning 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, FC Lahnstein's Herwig Ehrreich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henriko Tebbe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilfried Steininger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Henriko Tebbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th play minute Herwig Ehrreich came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henriko Tebbe. 0-2. Mehmet Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Keskin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Wilfried Steininger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Henriko Tebbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Kaul hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Herwig Ehrreich came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henriko Tebbe could save by the left post. In the 86thth minute of the game Wilfried Steininger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Dewangen's Henriko Tebbe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Herwig Ehrreich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TSV Dewangen's Henriko Tebbe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save TSV Dewangen from getting a goal against them.
