Thanks to some nice moves Ubbo Herbers could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Horst Dickhut however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 54 minutes, Ubbo Herbers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Einheit Burg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubbo Herbers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Niko Schieber sped through FC Bayern's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horst Dickhut. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Einheit Burg's goalkeeper Philipp Landgraf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Bayern walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
