Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Michael Abts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Unterulpoint booed when FC Midori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Döring didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Sascha Berz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Midori's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sascha Berz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sascha Berz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conny Hahn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ilja Kalitta made a huge save. After having played for 20 minutes, Sascha Berz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Midori's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sascha Berz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute of the match Adrian Bermel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliver Scherer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Midori getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ludger Gillardon hit a great ball. Michael Abts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilja Kalitta came out and tried to block the shot, but Michael Abts slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sascha Berz in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Scherer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Sascha Berz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Scherer was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Sascha Berz made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Scherer. Unterulpoint's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Michael Abts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Unterulpoint's Michael Abts got a free kick in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sascha Berz was the one to do the kick off. Franz Burke hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to Unterulpoint getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Franz Burke hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Franz Burke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unterulpoint's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Burke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilja Kalitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Felix Bähr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unterulpoint's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Midori the free kick. Felix Bähr hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Unterulpoint's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliver Scherer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Clint Blattner's late challenge caught a Unterulpoint's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clint Blattner helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Midori's Clint Blattner got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ilja Kalitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Abts, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Sascha Berz came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FC Midori fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sascha Berz couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute of the match Aloys Winkelsett sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilja Kalitta skillfully saved the ball. Franz Burke kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Sascha Berz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unterulpoint's Conny Hahn got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Midori getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Clint Blattner hit a great ball. FC Midori were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Unterulpoint to leave the ground with a draw.
