The Unterulpoint fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Scherer should have stopped the shot. SC Einheit Burg's Ubbo Herbers got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Einheit Burg's zone, Conny Hahn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philipp Landgraf came out of the goal and Conny Hahn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conny Hahn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Landgraf having to interfere. Ubbo Herbers struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Oliver Scherer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Einheit Burg.

If Ubbo Herbers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Philipp Landgraf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Abts's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Franz Burke hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Ubbo Herbers made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Scherer. Unterulpoint's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Philipp Landgraf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Abts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes, Emil Gerhardt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Einheit Burg and the Unterulpoint players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, SC Einheit Burg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Gerhardt to maneuver through the defense.
