After a defensive mix-up in Wimberg FSV's zone, Matthias Urban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Schwarz came out of the goal and Matthias Urban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joerg-Uwe Caesar kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wimberg FSV's Ole Per Narr got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ole Per Narr charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ole Per Narr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vordersteig booed when Wimberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole Per Narr didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliver Reinhard during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vordersteig were furious when Georg Gulich was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 86 minutes into the game, one of Vordersteig:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
