Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Union Dresden's Bertram Kreiser started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gunnar Kretz fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kleingern's protests and gave Gunnar Kretz a yellow card for diving instead. Gunnar Kretz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kleingern getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jakov Rosenbauer hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Issey Assing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edgar Assmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Issey Assing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 14 in the game by Jakov Rosenbauer from a close distance when the talented Edgar Assmann managed to make a qualified save. SC Union Dresden's players were relieved. Lucas Hardel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Assmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd play minute Anton Julius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgar Assmann. 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, SC Union Dresden's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Hardel came free, but Edgar Assmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kleingern's Lucas Hardel suffered a sore thigh after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 33 minutes into the game, Maik Lewe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Union Dresden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kleingern the free kick. The referee gave Kleingern a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Berthold Banzmeier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Union Dresden's Edgar Assmann. 3-0. Edgar Assmann made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Issey Assing sent off a good shot on target. Berthold Banzmeier made a great header on Kleingern's corner, it was just that SC Union Dresden's Edgar Assmann managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, SC Union Dresden's Edgar Assmann got control of the ball when Jakov Rosenbauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Issey Assing made a kick off. Edgar Assmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issey Assing in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Union Dresden's Maik Lewe got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Berthold Banzmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Assmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Issey Assing notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SC Union Dresden's Edgar Assmann. Edgar Assmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Assmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issey Assing, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Bertram Kreiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Stefan Skoczylas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Issey Assing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Issey Assing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Kleingern players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
