Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jörn Schütz made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Vordersteig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Götz Krefft to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Höxter's Mohamed Kärgel got control of the ball when Matthias Urban tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christen Rehnen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mohamed Kärgel was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Höxter's goalkeeper Mohamed Kärgel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Urban. When Michael Portner fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Höxter's protests and gave Michael Portner a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Höxter got a freekick which was hit by Michael Portner. After recieving a nice pass, Vordersteig's Joerg-Uwe Caesar tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mohamed Kärgel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christen Rehnen in the 22nd minute of the match. Matthias Urban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mohamed Kärgel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunter Gerster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Korbel having to interfere. Götz Krefft kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Höxter's zone, Götz Krefft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Kärgel came out of the goal and Götz Krefft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Mohamed Kärgel managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Vordersteig's Matthias Urban fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Höxter's Mohamed Kärgel got control of the ball when Christen Rehnen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michael Portner kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Höxter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emile Scharpe to maneuver through the defense. Christen Rehnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mohamed Kärgel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Christen Rehnen made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Christen Rehnen made a precise shot to the right of Mohamed Kärgel. Höxter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Höxter's Michael Portner got a free kick in the 55th minute. Sigi Steinki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Kärgel having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Christen Rehnen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Kärgel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christen Rehnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Kärgel having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Höxter's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Urban came free, but Mohamed Kärgel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Christen Rehnen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Kärgel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Matthias Urban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Christen Rehnen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vordersteig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christen Rehnen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vordersteig's Christen Rehnen got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Vordersteig's Matthias Urban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Kärgel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunter Gerster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Daniel Korbel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matthias Urban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christen Rehnen in the 96th minute of play forced Höxter's goalkeeper Mohamed Kärgel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Höxter's Emile Scharpe got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Emile Scharpe off the ground. After a rather tough play, Höxter's Emile Scharpe got a free kick in the 98th minute. In the 99th minute, Matthias Urban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Vordersteig players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
