Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucas Hardel took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Michael Rösch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Skoczylas was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After having played for 4 minutes, Kornelius König managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ostdeutschland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kornelius König was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Rösch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Stefan Skoczylas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Michael Rösch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kleingern's Stefan Skoczylas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Hardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurence Böhland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Hardel in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Issey Assing got free with Laurence Böhland in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes, Kleingern's Berthold Banzmeier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laurence Böhland came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kleingern reached it. The audience was convinced that Lucas Hardel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurence Böhland was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Lucas Hardel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laurence Böhland came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Hardel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Kornelius König sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kornelius König's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Skoczylas was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Lucas Hardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yannik Saager might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Skoczylas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yannik Saager ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Issey Assing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Kornelius König shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Skoczylas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ostdeutschland's Kornelius König slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefan Skoczylas. That made the score 1-1 after 56 minutes of play. Lucas Hardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Skoczylas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kornelius König went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Ostdeutschland's zone, Issey Assing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurence Böhland came out of the goal and Issey Assing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Issey Assing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Laurence Böhland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Hardel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurence Böhland having to make a save. Issey Assing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Hardel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Böhland having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Lucas Hardel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Hardel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laurence Böhland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Ostdeutschland supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ostdeutschland would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
