Robert Schwarz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41stth minute of the game Jacob Spanl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wimberg FSV's Robert Schwarz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benny Schulz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Herrenkind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Buchen's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jonas Buchen sped through DJK Rhede's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Herrenkind. The DJK Rhede players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wimberg FSV were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Spanl made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jacob Spanl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacob Spanl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Schwarz having to interfere. Benny Schulz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Schwarz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benny Schulz ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, DJK Rhede's Benny Schulz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Schwarz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jacob Spanl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wimberg FSV's Robert Schwarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Spanl in the 90th minute of play.
