Lothar Zinnbauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tommy Bockhahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adnan Veighand might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Bockhahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adnan Veighand ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes Pohlheim got a freekick which was hit by Jupp Knoop. In the 16th minute, Florian Rahaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Fatih Heinicke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Konrad Holzfuß was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Rahaus in the 32nd minute of play forced Pohlheim's goalkeeper Tommy Bockhahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lothar Zinnbauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Hassel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Pohlheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaman Niebel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Adnan Veighand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ağrı's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adnan Veighand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Konrad Holzfuß showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrien Kritzer in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Stanislaus Vollath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lothar Zinnbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Bockhahn having to interfere. A collision led to Pohlheim getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcus Kreissler hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Ağrı's Karlo Eggenfeld in action when he in the 75th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Lothar Zinnbauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Heinicke in the 94th minute of play forced Ağrı's goalkeeper Konrad Holzfuß to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ağrı's Adnan Veighand got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
