Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Batho Söldner made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Batho Söldner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Langhals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lance Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Hochacht's Sebastian Langhals nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lance Kruse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Batho Söldner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benny Kuppermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holzgerlingen FSV's Lars Binninger got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 32 in the game by Lars Binninger from a close distance when the talented Benny Kuppermann managed to make a qualified save. Hochacht's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice moves Lars Binninger could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Benny Kuppermann however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maiko Deriu in the 45th minute of play forced Holzgerlingen FSV's goalkeeper Lance Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maiko Deriu might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lance Kruse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maiko Deriu ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maiko Deriu made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Hochacht got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Neuhäuser. Lars Binninger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Benny Kuppermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Binninger took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benny Kuppermann. Benny Kuppermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Batho Söldner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Hochacht's goal looked a bit too open when Batho Söldner came free, but Benny Kuppermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Holzgerlingen FSV's Lance Kruse got control of the ball when Sebastian Langhals tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lars Binninger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benny Kuppermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Holzgerlingen FSV's Lars Binninger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benny Kuppermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maiko Deriu in the 81st minute of play forced Holzgerlingen FSV's goalkeeper Lance Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batho Söldner in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benny Kuppermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Hochacht's Reinhard Neuhäuser got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hochacht's zone, Batho Söldner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benny Kuppermann came out of the goal and Batho Söldner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hochacht getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sebastian Langhals hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Holzgerlingen FSV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hochacht had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
