Jörg Tamali might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dietrich Scholven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörg Tamali ran back to his position shaking his head. Philipp Drews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dietrich Scholven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Jörg Tamali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dietrich Scholven. Katzwalchen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörg Tamali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Philipp Drews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Katzwalchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Schnittke to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Katzwalchen defense, Philipp Drews kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dietrich Scholven. The Katzwalchen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dietrich Scholven should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, AC Bersonia's Philipp Drews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dietrich Scholven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philipp Drews might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dietrich Scholven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Katzwalchen booed when AC Bersonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gideon Hartwig didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 60 minutes on the clock, Konrad Schnittke commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Katzwalchen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Dietrich Scholven, was totally fooled by AC Bersonia's Alwin Kremmers, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The tension between the Katzwalchen and the AC Bersonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Thies Kiefer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Joerg-Uwe Hubert got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dietrich Scholven was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Philipp Drews showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. If Jörg Tamali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
