Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elmo Juratovic made the kick off which started today's match. Dominik Fuchs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Utters having to interfere. In the 13th minute Elmo Juratovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Utters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Utters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmo Juratovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Berthold Woitzik was a little too slow when Charly Allmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Patrick Utters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmo Juratovic in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bert Tuters during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Reaper crew got a freekick which was hit by Bert Tuters. A collision led to Grundner getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Elmo Juratovic hit a great ball. Eike Kamieth hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Charly Allmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berthold Woitzik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berthold Woitzik came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Reaper crew's Kurt Kranz. But to his dismay, Kurt Kranz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Dominik Fuchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Grundner's Dominik Fuchs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Utters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Dominik Fuchs came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Grundner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Fuchs couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charly Allmann to make the kick off. Patrick Utters made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dominik Fuchs sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Kranz in the 55th minute of play forced Grundner's goalkeeper Berthold Woitzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Utters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Grundner's Dominik Fuchs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Utters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Patrick Utters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominik Fuchs in the 78th minute. If Dominik Fuchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Reaper crew's Bert Tuters got a free kick in the 86th minute. Elmo Juratovic in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Utters, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paul Kienast's late challenge caught a Grundner's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Kienast helped the player get up and apologised. Paul Kienast kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
