Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mike Schabel started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, Sensfelder Hof FC's Mike Schabel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wayne Schlagbauer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ballstedt's Thomas Ballheim got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helmut Fuchss short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Yavuz Schneller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Schabel in the 14th minute of play forced Ballstedt's goalkeeper Wayne Schlagbauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sensfelder Hof FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Detmar Muhs hit a great ball. When Thomas Ballheim fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballstedt's protests and gave Thomas Ballheim a yellow card for diving instead. Thomas Ballheim kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Leif Störmsdörfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Wayne Schlagbauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oleg Hemmerlein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oleg Hemmerleins short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Yavuz Schneller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oleg Hemmerlein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Thomas Ballheim lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Yavuz Schneller. 36 minutes into the game, Ulrich Gabler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sensfelder Hof FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballstedt the free kick. Leif Störmsdörfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sensfelder Hof FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Christian Gundelach hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Helmut Fuchs made the kick off in the second half. Wayne Schlagbauer made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Leif Störmsdörfer sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Kutzmutz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wayne Schlagbauer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wayne Schlagbauer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mike Schabel went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Ulrich Gabler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wayne Schlagbauer came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulrich Gabler slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 58th minute. Mike Schabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Schlagbauer having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Thomas Ballheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Franz Gravius put in a rough tackle. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ballstedt! Thomas Ballheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sensfelder Hof FC's Ulrich Gabler got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Ulrich Gabler off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sensfelder Hof FC's Ulrich Gabler got a free kick in the 76th minute. Yavuz Schneller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Helmut Fuchs went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Wayne Schlagbauer made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Leif Störmsdörfer sent off a good shot on target. Helmut Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Leif Störmsdörfer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sensfelder Hof FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Störmsdörfer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wayne Schlagbauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Helmut Fuchs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Yavuz Schneller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ballstedt supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sensfelder Hof FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sensfelder Hof FC.
