Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hochacht's Maiko Deriu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Sensfelder Hof FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maiko Deriu came free, but Yavuz Schneller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Störmsdörfer in the 9th minute of play forced Hochacht's goalkeeper Benny Kuppermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benny Kuppermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Schabel in the 15th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes, Hochacht's Ronald Poschmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yavuz Schneller came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hochacht reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Schabel in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benny Kuppermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Maiko Deriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benny Kuppermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Schabel in the 29th minute of the match. Hochacht's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Störmsdörfer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sebastian Langhals scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Schneller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th match minute, Sensfelder Hof FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Muchalla to maneuver through the defense. Yavuz Schneller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maiko Deriu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes, Sensfelder Hof FC's Tim Muchalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benny Kuppermann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sensfelder Hof FC reached it. In the 48th minute, Leif Störmsdörfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Langhals in the 62nd minute of play forced Sensfelder Hof FC's goalkeeper Yavuz Schneller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Hochacht got a corner. Sensfelder Hof FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bastian Solf ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christian Gundelach thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Yavuz Schneller, a very annoying self made goal in the 64th minute which led to 2-1. Yavuz Schneller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maiko Deriu in the 71st minute of play. Yavuz Schneller came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Hochacht's Maiko Deriu. But to his dismay, Maiko Deriu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Sebastian Langhals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Schneller having to interfere. Benny Kuppermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Schabel in the 88th minute of the match. Sensfelder Hof FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
