Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lutz Bergers got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Ebernhahn's Jork Suhrke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dietrich Scholven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Henning Brocken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Münks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Heiko Kordowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Jork Suhrke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henning Brocken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heiko Kordowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Brocken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Katzwalchen's Dietrich Scholven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Katzwalchen from getting a goal against them. Lutz Bergers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heiko Kordowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henning Brocken's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Andreas Münks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Heiko Kordowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Katzwalchen's goalkeeper Dietrich Scholven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jork Suhrke. Lutz Bergers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dietrich Scholven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Jork Suhrke got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Jork Suhrke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lutz Bergers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dietrich Scholven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Henning Brocken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Kordowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dietrich Scholven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Bergers in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jork Suhrke in the 56th minute of play forced Katzwalchen's goalkeeper Dietrich Scholven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dietrich Scholven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jork Suhrke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Lutz Bergers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dietrich Scholven was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Jork Suhrke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Katzwalchen's Thies Kiefer got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Mauritz Jan Sanke sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Katzwalchen's Dietrich Scholven didn't even have to move. Dietrich Scholven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Bergers in the 69th minute of play. Andreas Münks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Heiko Kordowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lutz Bergers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dietrich Scholven was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jork Suhrke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lutz Bergers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dietrich Scholven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jork Suhrke in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Lutz Bergers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dietrich Scholven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jork Suhrke in the 95th minute of play forced Katzwalchen's goalkeeper Dietrich Scholven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Katzwalchen's Dietrich Scholven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Bergers in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ebernhahn players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
