Fc Panezys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holzgerlingen FSV the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Fc Panezys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Hennig to maneuver through the defense. Kai Renz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batho Söldner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Binninger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Kai Renz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reik Grünewald fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Panezys's protests and gave Reik Grünewald a yellow card for diving instead. Reik Grünewald kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Kai Renz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batho Söldner, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Lance Kruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gideon Wagner in the 12th minute of the match. If Reik Grünewald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kai Renz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Binninger, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Batho Söldner's late challenge caught a Fc Panezys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batho Söldner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Batho Söldner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lars Binninger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kai Renz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batho Söldner in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Helmar Freemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Renz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai Renz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batho Söldner in the 26th minute of the match. Batho Söldner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kai Renz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Holzgerlingen FSV booed when Fc Panezys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reik Grünewald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Panezys's zone, Lars Binninger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kai Renz came out of the goal and Lars Binninger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kai Renz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Binninger went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lars Binninger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Renz having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Batho Söldner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Renz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lars Binninger came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Holzgerlingen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Binninger couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reik Grünewald was the one to do the kick off. Lars Binninger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigurd Berthelé in the 65th minute of play forced Fc Panezys's goalkeeper Kai Renz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Fc Panezys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reik Grünewald to maneuver through the defense. When Batho Söldner came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Holzgerlingen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batho Söldner couldn't finish the play. Holzgerlingen FSV's Batho Söldner got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Binninger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Renz having to interfere. If Lars Binninger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Unger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kai Renz. Fc Panezys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lars Binninger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kai Renz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kai Renz was a little too slow when Batho Söldner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-4. After 94 minutes, Helmar Freemann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holzgerlingen FSV and the Fc Panezys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Helmar Freemann hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Fc Panezys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Holzgerlingen FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
