Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ebernhahn's Lutz Bergers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lutz Bergers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lance Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Holzgerlingen FSV fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Holzgerlingen FSV's Batho Söldner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Lars Binninger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heiko Kordowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Batho Söldner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Batho Söldner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Kordowski having to interfere. Heiko Kordowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batho Söldner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heiko Kordowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batho Söldner in the 22nd minute of play. Lars Binninger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Kordowski having to interfere. Lars Binninger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heiko Kordowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Batho Söldner in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Heiko Kordowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Batho Söldner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Kordowski having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Ebernhahn got a freekick which was hit by Josua Batzer. Lars Binninger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Heiko Kordowski made a huge save. Sebastian Unger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Heiko Kordowski. Ebernhahn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Holzgerlingen FSV's Lance Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Bergers in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batho Söldner to make the kick off. Batho Söldner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Kordowski having to interfere. In the 62ndth minute of the game Lars Binninger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ebernhahn's Heiko Kordowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heiko Kordowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Binninger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Holzgerlingen FSV booed when Ebernhahn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josua Batzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes, Ebernhahn's Mauritz Jan Sanke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lance Kruse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ebernhahn reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Binninger in the 77th minute of play forced Ebernhahn's goalkeeper Heiko Kordowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heiko Kordowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batho Söldner in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Frank Coppi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ebernhahn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holzgerlingen FSV the free kick. Lars Binninger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Heiko Kordowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Seehofer during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lutz Bergers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ebernhahn's Robert Engel got a free kick in the 88th minute. Heiko Kordowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Binninger in the 92nd minute of play. Fred Seehofer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Josua Batzer hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Holzgerlingen FSV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ebernhahn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
