Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Matias Ruthus was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for fccol! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Bechert during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to fccol getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Paul Bechert hit a great ball. Pitt Hornung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind fccol's goalkeeper Erich Klöckner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 played minutes fccol got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Lienemann. Winfried Kochert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Erich Klöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pitt Hornung recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Winfried Kochert came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Vfl-327 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winfried Kochert couldn't finish the play. Vfl-327's Jürg Jakob got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conni Hajduk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Conni Hajduk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conni Hajduk made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Vfl-327 got a freekick which was hit by Jan Butzendorf. After 52 played minutes, fccol's Josef Schenk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michail Ernstberger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in fccol reached it. Vfl-327's Michail Ernstberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conni Hajduk in the 54th minute of play. Pitt Hornung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erich Klöckner having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Winfried Kochert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Dieter Deckers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fccol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vfl-327 the free kick. In the 71st minute, Dieter Deckers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erich Klöckner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winfried Kochert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
