Immanuel Rüeck guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Jakob Dersewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Immanuel Rüeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dion Romberg in the 11th minute. Galatasaray's Immanuel Rüeck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Louis Dickopf dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Immanuel Rüeck, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Jakob Dersewski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 29 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Dickopf came free, but Immanuel Rüeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Jakob Dersewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Immanuel Rüeck. Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakob Dersewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Louis Dickopf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Immanuel Rüeck was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Immanuel Rüeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Dickopf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sauingen getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ayman Szolkowy hit a great ball. With a little luck, Galatasaray's Immanuel Rüeck got control of the ball when Jakob Dersewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jakob Dersewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dion Romberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Immanuel Rüeck having to interfere. A hard shot 45 in the game by Jakob Dersewski from a close distance when the talented Immanuel Rüeck managed to make a qualified save. Galatasaray's players were relieved. Louis Dickopf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Immanuel Rüeck having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Dickopf to strike the kick off in the second half. Immanuel Rüeck came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sauingen's Louis Dickopf. But to his dismay, Louis Dickopf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Johannes Krahnen charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Krahnen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jakob Dersewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Immanuel Rüeck having to interfere. Immanuel Rüeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Dersewski in the 62nd minute of play. Galatasaray's Immanuel Rüeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Dersewski in the 64th minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Louis Dickopf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray's Immanuel Rüeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Louis Dickopf put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Immanuel Rüeck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Dickopf in the 81st minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Immanuel Rüeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Johannes Krahnen got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Louis Dickopf might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Immanuel Rüeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Dickopf ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Louis Dickopf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Immanuel Rüeck came out of the goal and Louis Dickopf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Immanuel Rüeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Dersewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Sauingen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
