Thanks to some nice moves Pitt Hornung could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Laurent Gerharz however easily saved by the left post. After 32 minutes, Fjodor Gehre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eintracht Lokstedt and the Vfl-327 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eintracht Lokstedt's Laurent Gerharz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Lokstedt from getting a goal against them. When Winfried Kochert came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Vfl-327 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winfried Kochert couldn't finish the play. Jürg Jakob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Laurent Gerharz made a huge save. Laurent Gerharz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winfried Kochert in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Lokstedt's Jürgen Fridrich got a free kick in the 45th minute. 49 minutes into the match, Winfried Kochert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laurent Gerharz, 1-0. Eintracht Lokstedt's Laurent Gerharz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pitt Hornung in the 64th minute of play.
