TV Grundhof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Süd Dunum the free kick. Christopher Ehret hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Tim Pappert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rudi Boy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christopher Birkle fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Süd Dunum's protests and gave Christopher Birkle a yellow card for diving instead. If Rudi Boy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yannik Lechtenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoph Kasimir having to interfere. Tim Pappert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dieter Schubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Pappert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thilo Kesper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dieter Schubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tim Pappert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dieter Schubert was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Süd Dunum's Thilo Kesper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dieter Schubert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Süd Dunum's Tim Pappert got a free kick in the 29th minute. Süd Dunum's Thilo Kesper suffered a sprained foot after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 35 minutes, Florian Ossenkopp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TV Grundhof and the Süd Dunum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, TV Grundhof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Ossenkopp to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes, Tim Pappert made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. TV Grundhof's Dieter Schubert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tim Pappert made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Hofer during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Süd Dunum's Andreas Hofer got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rudi Boy hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Andreas Hofer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute, Arno Jenssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieter Schubert made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Tim Pappert sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Spanehl kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Süd Dunum got a freekick which was hit by Hark Bernardi. When Christopher Birkle came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Süd Dunum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Birkle couldn't finish the play. Süd Dunum's Andreas Hofer pulled a muscle in his leg after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. TV Grundhof's Christopher Ehret got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Christopher Ehret off the ground. The supporters of Süd Dunum booed when TV Grundhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Ehret didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to TV Grundhof getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Karl Pfau hit a great ball. Christopher Birkle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Dieter Schubert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christopher Birkle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Schubert having to interfere. Tim Pappert had several of the TV Grundhof's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Dieter Schubert as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute, Christopher Birkle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dieter Schubert, passed just outside the right post. Tim Pappert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, TV Grundhof's goalkeeper Dieter Schubert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christopher Birkle. Süd Dunum's Christopher Birkle got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
