Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yannick Schlegel started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Morten Weihrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfried Bergsohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfried Bergsohn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Morten Weihrich's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes FFB got a freekick which was hit by Burt Weege. Hansjürgen Belzner struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Romeo Stapelfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FFB. The crowd rose to their feet as Yannick Schlegel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romeo Stapelfeldt. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Constantin Schmitt-Illert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FFB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZAFIRO CELESTIAL the free kick. A collision led to FFB getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Constantin Schmitt-Illert hit a great ball. Wilfried Bergsohn came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by ZAFIRO CELESTIAL's Morten Weihrich. But to his dismay, Morten Weihrich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th match minute, FFB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Schmitt-Illert to maneuver through the defense. Reinhold Kleemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wilfried Bergsohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reinhold Kleemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ansgar Hahnemann hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Yannick Schlegel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannick Schlegel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morten Weihrich was the one to do the kick off. Romeo Stapelfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burt Weege, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Yannick Schlegel struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Romeo Stapelfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FFB. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hansjürgen Belzner in the 61st minute of play forced ZAFIRO CELESTIAL's goalkeeper Romeo Stapelfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hansjürgen Belzner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Stapelfeldt having to make a save. After 63 minutes of play FFB's Burt Weege was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Wilfried Bergsohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Weihrich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hansjürgen Belzner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hansjürgen Belzner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Stapelfeldt having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Horst Hennig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZAFIRO CELESTIAL and the FFB players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ZAFIRO CELESTIAL getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Horst Hennig hit a great ball. Hansjürgen Belzner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Stapelfeldt having to interfere. If Reinhold Kleemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfried Bergsohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Weihrich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinhold Kleemann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Wilfried Bergsohn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FFB players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
