After 3 minutes, Giovanni Strasdeit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Przymorze FC and the Kurde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Giovanni Strasdeit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Oswald Tuttlies shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaro Schöpper showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Klement Klink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaro Schöpper having to interfere. When Berthold Pabst fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurde's protests and gave Berthold Pabst a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kurde getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Berthold Pabst hit a great ball. Jörn Liebich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hristo Mohr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Kurde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winfried Hermes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Jörn Liebich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Przymorze FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörn Liebich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Oswald Tuttlies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kurde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Przymorze FC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Kurde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswald Tuttlies to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kurde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Groneberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Przymorze FC's players had a chance to rest. Przymorze FC's Guy Groneberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hristo Mohr in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hristo Mohr made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hilmar Deuss sent off a good shot on target. Hristo Mohr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Liebich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Jörn Liebich got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörn Liebich to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Kurde got a freekick which was hit by Berthold Pabst. Jaro Schöpper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klement Klink went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 62 played minutes Kurde got a freekick which was hit by Roman Klötzer. In the 65th minute Jörn Liebich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hristo Mohr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erwin Schäuffele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Klink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaro Schöpper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Gregor Kreikemeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Przymorze FC's Jörn Liebich in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kurde's goalie prevented a goal. Timo Beimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
