Spectators: 7631 (Terracing: 5724, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heiko Jojade started the match with the kick off. Ewald Kuckuck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titus Fischl in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Ben Houben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ewald Kuckuck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Artur Stumpe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck. Ewald Kuckuck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Houben in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Jaap Wischniewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alemannia Aachen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Ferriby United the free kick. Jaap Wischniewski hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Anselm Siewert fired a really elegant long shot, but Dino Gottmann threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Ewald Kuckuck came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Alemannia Aachen's Artur Stumpe. But to his dismay, Artur Stumpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 22nd minute Heiko Haveman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewald Kuckuck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Bittel might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Gottmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erwin Bittel ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the North Ferriby United defense, Heiko Haveman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ewald Kuckuck. The North Ferriby United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ewald Kuckuck should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, North Ferriby United's Heiko Jojade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dino Gottmann. Dino Gottmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Houben in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Heiko Haveman made a precise shot to the right of Ewald Kuckuck. North Ferriby United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Haveman in the 40th minute of play. Heiko Jojade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heiko Haveman to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Matt Leers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Gottmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Alemannia Aachen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Houben to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Heiko Jojade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Titus Fischl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ewald Kuckuck came out and tried to block the shot, but Titus Fischl slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 65th minute. North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save North Ferriby United from getting a goal against them. Ewald Kuckuck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artur Stumpe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 74 minute of play. Ewald Kuckuck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Houben in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Heiko Jojade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Gottmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Heiko Haveman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ewald Kuckuck, 1-8. Matt Leers took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Gottmann. Dino Gottmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-8. Heiko Haveman's late challenge caught a North Ferriby United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heiko Haveman helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Alemannia Aachen got a freekick which was hit by Heiko Haveman. The Alemannia Aachen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
