Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ruprecht Döbele kicked off to start the match. In the 14th minute, Bruno Töpper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Egon Früchtl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Heinrich Körpers short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Egon Früchtl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Frankreich's Ruprecht Döbele slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egon Früchtl. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Frankreich's Tom Grammelspacher got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Frankreich's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Töpper came free, but Melvin Reck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well placed Ruprecht Döbele short distance shot in the 39th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Heinrich Körper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frankreich's supporters rose to their feet, but Heinrich Körper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Früchtl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Töpper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Heinrich Körper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frankreich's supporters rose to their feet, but Heinrich Körper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Früchtl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ruprecht Döbele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Früchtl was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Kapsweyer FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frankreich the free kick.
